Save time on searching for employees' information. With the new People tab in the Core HR module, all employees can check the essential information, such as:

• primary data (e.g., names, email, gender),
• contact information.

As an administrator, you have a full access to the:

• primary data,
• organization structure (e. g. position, teams, managers),
• employment details,
• employee experience,
• employee ID,
• contact information,
• documents,
• entitlements,
• leave and attendance requests.

You can restrict the access to the employees information according to your needs, so only authorized people can access them, e.g., managers can only see the documents and entitlement of their teams.

With a brand-new Calamari widget, you can start and end your workday directly from your phone's main screen. You won't have to open the app anymore to get started.

To place the widget on your screen, tap and hold the main screen, choose the "widgets" button, and choose the app from the list. You can choose how big the widget should be based on your needs.

Update your Calamari app in the Play Store and discover all the possibilities the new widget gives you.

You have a possibility to create as many leave types as you need but to make sure your employees know how and when to use it, you also need a good description. That's why we created a space where you can write a description with all the necessary information.

To ensure your employees know how and when to use their leave, add a description of leave you're offering. From now, to highlight the most important information and format descriptions, you can use a Markdown.

Your employees can check the formated description of a given leave type in their Entitlement tab.

Until now, you could change the overview information about employees only in your Configuration panel. We add the Administration section to the People tab to make your people management more efficient.

From now on you can change overview information quickly from the People directory.

Calamari KIOSK is getting a massive update. We've decided to rewrite it as a native app using the latest technology.

SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) authentication is available for mobile devices now! Manage multiple accounts of your employees in one place the same way you do it in the web app. This method increases security and speeds up the log-in process.

Just a reminder: Calamari integrates with OKTA, OneLogin, and many other similar providers.

Our menu is changing for you! 🎉🎉🎉

We've introduced visual changes in our top and left menus. Thanks to them, you get more space in the workspace, which allows you to see all the information on one screen.

We've decided to change our menu structure to optimize your daily work with Calamari. We took the bookmarks from the top menu and moved them to the left one as a drop-down list. We've also removed the gray filter bar and moved the search box to the right corner of the top menu so it's in the same place on every screen in the app. This way, we have increased the working area on the Approvals, Applications, and Documents screens.

After researching on improving the usability of our app, we've decided to refresh the entitlement view on the Calamari web application and add new features that will make requesting leave days easier. 🎉🎉🎉

From now on, you can group absence types, check their descriptions, check the colors of absence types, see the list of all restrictions, and the number of leave days that will expire soon. With those changes, using the entitlement view will be more useful than ever!

Improved visibility with grouping makes it easier to find the needed information quickly. You can also add a specific color to every type of absence to help your employees intuitively navigate them.

We've decided to integrate Calamari with the eRecruiter recruitment system to improve the onboarding process of new employees. With the active integration, you can quickly transfer data about the newly hired employee from eRecruiter to Calamari after deciding on hiring someone. It's a great way to speed up the onboarding process and save time creating new employee profiles in Calamari.

To turn on the integration, you have to:

1. Go to the eRecruiter, find Calamari integration, and turn it on.
2. Copy the Marketplace key
3. Turn on the integration in Calamari -> Integrations -> eRecruiter and paste the key

With a combined menu, Calamari reports are changing too! From now on you can find all the employees' reports about their absences and attendance in one place. On the new intuitive view you can find two sections: one for Leave reports and one for Attendance reports. You can now click less to make the work done!
