Core HR module is a full-fledged source of truth about your teams. Thanks to recent updates, managing employee data has become even more intuitive and enjoyable. Here's what you can achieve:

• Filtering across all data: You can now create personalized data views using any Custom fields. This means you can easily identify employees based on available benefits, earned certificates, skills, or other specific criteria.
• Reports with Custom fields: Export reports including all Custom fields. Whether it's date, text, or dropdown – you now have full control over the data you see.
• Relative dates in reports: Create report templates that automatically adjust to changing dates. It’s the perfect solution to stay up to date with key information about your employees. You can filter by ranges such as: last week, last month, current month, next month, etc.

Thanks to the collecting and sharing features – gathering and sharing data about employees and their work has never been easier or more efficient.

We've added new languages!

Spanish is now available in the mobile app, while Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese are available in the web version (upon customer request). Users from these countries can now enjoy a more intuitive app experience.

In the mobile app, the language follows your phone's system settings, if supported by Calamari.

In the web version, to change the language, go to the configuration tab.

Good news! In Calamari, you can now assign a Work Schedule to entire teams with just one click.

To do this: go to Configuration → Work Schedule → select a specific plan and edit it ✏️ → Add employees → switch to the Teams tab and Assign plan.

This feature is especially useful during employee onboarding, introducing new teams/branches to Calamari, or implementing company policy changes, such as a four-day workweek.

From now on, everyone in the company can fill out their timesheets directly in MS Teams. How? A new "Add Attendance" button has appeared in the Timesheet tab, allowing employees to easily complete their records for a given period or month.

Thanks to this feature, employees can also allocate time to specific projects and log breaks. There's no need to open the web app — everything is available within the Microsoft environment.

We've revamped the Calamari Slack Home Tab to give you faster access to essential HR information and actions. The new layout makes daily time tracking and absence management more intuitive directly from Slack.

Time & Attendance

• Log your work time and breaks directly from Slack
• View attendance list in a convenient popup (team status notifications on dedicated channels still available)

We are expanding Core HR filtering capabilities to include all custom fields!

You will be able to create more precise and personalized data views by filtering based on any custom fields you've configured in Calamari - including date fields (already available), text entries, numeric values, and dropdown selections (coming soon).

This update will give you you greater flexibility when searching for specific employee information, generating reports, or organising your HR data.

For example, you could:

• easily identify employees whose certifications expire next month,
• filter by specific skills or qualifications,
• or segment your team based on any custom criteria you've established.

The new filtering options, already available in Report/People, will be soon available throughout the system, including Configuration/People and Core HR / People view, making your administrative workflows more efficient than ever.

From now on, managers and admins can save their own report templates in the People Report. Based on their role, they'll be able to define and save templates that include:

• Selected data fields
• Applied filters
• Template name

The template can be reused to quickly pull reports for different time periods without reconfiguring settings. You can set reports such as:

• Contract and bonuses summary report
• Employees who left last year with exit reasons report
• Employee performance review
• Company devices report
• Work anniversaries in the next month (addresses included)
• Employee skills and certifications report
• Uniform and apparel tracking report

The filtering system now includes 11 comprehensive filters (up from 4) and preset date filters such as "previous month".

The new view:

• Displays upcoming birthdays, work anniversaries, end of contract
• Enables searching for specific employee celebrations

Our API documentation has been refreshed. We are using Redocly to support our client in their integration task.

The new interface includes:

• interactive API testing tool directly in your browser,
• API endpoints to create, update and list "People" data with custom fields.

The enhanced documentation simplifies integration between Calamari and your internal systems, with Calamari serving as the source of truth for employee data. You can create and update employee profiles with all their custom fields in Core HR module.
