Do you often experience that all meeting rooms are unavailable, only to find them booked but empty? Say farewell to wasted space with Mapiq's latest feature: automatic release of meeting rooms in case of a no show.

How it works?

  • Mapiq checks whether a room is booked and whether there are people detected by sensors in the room.
  • 5 minutes after the meeting started, an automatic notification is sent to the organizer to confirm or cancel their presence.
  • If no presence is detected and the organizer doesn't respond, the room is automatically released in 10 minutes.
  • Outlook sends an email to the organizer once the room is released. Only the room booking is cancelled, not the meeting itself.
  • Employees need to give consent individually to receive in-app, email and/or push notifications.

Now you can get a quick overview of all sensors' health and identify underperforming sensors using our intuitive maps.

You can also filter on the floor, sensor activity, and sensor provider. Bookmark the search for future usage and share the link with colleagues for troubleshooting.

We just launched a new Room Calendar Integration for Microsoft 365. This integration will enable new analytics of how your meeting rooms are booked and utilized.

This new integration will allow you to:

  • Access advanced meeting room booking trends directly in the Analytics dashboard which will help measure, understand, and improve your meeting spaces.
  • In combination with occupancy sensors, get additional insights on meeting room utilization (for example, booked but not utilized) and understand the root causes of meeting room no-shows.

We added a few new updates to make parking license plate management more seamless.

  • Employees can now add multiple license plates instead of a single license plate. Here's a reminder on how users can add license plates.
  • Admins can now search license plates in the People tab and delete them, making it easier to manage license plates.
